Bort Café Catering began with a barista’s passion for quality and connection. After over 12 years behind the coffee bar, our founder wanted to bring the same warmth and attention to group dining. With no formal chef training but a strong eye for flavour and detail, they created a catering concept built on simplicity, flexibility, and care. 1. What is the minimum order for delivery?
To be eligible for delivery, your order must meet a minimum total of $100 (excluding delivery fees).
2. How much does delivery cost?
Delivery fees are based on your distance from our kitchen (6 Fraser Place, Forest Hill VIC):
✅ 0–5 km – Free delivery
📍 5–10 km – $10 flat fee
🚗 10–15 km – $20 flat fee
🚚 15–20 km – $30 flat fee
3. Which suburbs do you deliver to?
Due to platform limitations, we assign delivery rules by suburb, not exact distance. Since suburbs can span beyond specific radii, there may be cases where your address is slightly outside the expected range.
If your address is in a suburb we service but falls outside the delivery radius, our team will contact you to confirm or discuss a fair delivery fee based on actual distance.
4. When will my order be delivered?
All local deliveries are made between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM on the day of your scheduled order.
We will send you a text message the day before your delivery with an estimated arrival time. Please note that this time is an estimate only and may vary due to traffic or delivery volume.
5. Can I request a specific delivery time or instructions?
Yes! You can leave notes or special instructions during checkout. We do our best to accommodate individual needs, and special timing or access requirements will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
6. Can I pick up my order instead of choosing delivery?
Absolutely. We encourage local pickup if you're nearby or outside our delivery zones.
